Keep plastics out of oceans
The HP Planet Partners return and recycling program enables simple, convenient recycling of Original HP Cartridges.2 Since 2000, more than 199 million pounds (90 million kilograms) of recycled plastic have been used in manufacturing new Original HP ink and toner Cartridges, diverting almost 5,000 tractor-trailer loads of plastic from reaching oceans or landfills.3 Plus, it's free and convenient to return HP Cartridges to HP Planet Partners for recycling—for more than 25 years, we've been making a difference, together.
Partner with HP for the Environment
Help reduce your environmental impact without compromising quality—the excellent print quality of Original HP Cartridges means fewer reprints and less waste. Many Original HP Cartridges contain recycled plastic and still meet high quality standards.
Return your cartridge, close the loop.
All Original HP ink and toner Cartridges that you return to HP Planet Partners are combined with recycled materials like the plastic bottles collected in Haiti and other countries. They go through a multiphase, closed loop recycling process and are separated and refined for use as raw ingredients in new Original HP ink and toner Cartridges.
